North Enders and all Tacoma area residents here is a new spot for you to check out.... This unique spot is Black Fleet Brewing in Down Town Tacoma. This brewery also serves food and is available as a venue to rent as well. Located at 2302 Fawcett Ave, down town, in the historic brewery area of Down Town, tucked in where you might need to know it's there to find it..... On the day I took my first tour of the Tap Room and Kitchen, I asked if they filled growlers, they said "no", as those do not keep well, they instead have craft beers in the same size that will keep much longer. You can come in and pick up your beer to go, or get it frosty and delicious to consume on premises. They brew on site and the set up is impressive to look at. The owners took this historic building and made it even more special. While the space is open with industrial era feeling, it is also warm and inviting.
